Preview a phone case on your phone
Phone case product photos are always shot under perfect studio light, and the color you receive is rarely the color you expected. PlopIt puts the case on a photo of your real phone so the color, finish, and overall vibe are honest before you buy.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the phone case color look different than the photo?
Product images are shot under bright studio lighting and often color-corrected for maximum saturation. Most cases — especially translucent and tinted clear ones — look noticeably duller or different-hued under typical indoor lighting. Pastel colors are the worst offenders; what reads lilac in the photo can arrive much grayer in person.
Matte or glossy phone case — which is better?
Matte cases hide fingerprints and have more grip, but they pick up dirt and oil over time that can be hard to clean off. Glossy cases stay easier to wipe down and let phone colors show through more vividly, but they're slippery and show every fingerprint. Matte is the safer all-day pick; glossy looks better in photos.
How do I know if a phone case fits my exact phone model?
Always match the exact model and generation — a case for iPhone 15 Pro will not fit iPhone 15 Pro Max. Check the cutout positions for camera and ports, especially with newer phones where camera bumps shift between models. Generic "fits all iPhones" cases almost never line up properly with the camera array.
Can I see how a phone case will look on my phone before buying?
Yes — upload a photo of your phone and the case's product image or link to PlopIt. The preview puts the case on your actual device so you can see the color in normal lighting before the order ships. Useful for translucent and pastel cases where the listing photo is most misleading.
